A 3 hour's drive (170 Kms) from delhi, 20 kms from Alwar, Moksh Sariska's rustic Swiss camps are located at entry of the huge Sariska Zone, on the main Alwar Sariska Road.

Sharp cliffs of hills and narrow valleys of the Aravalis dominate the landscape of Sariska, whose forests are dry and deciduous. Within the Sariska wildlife sanctuary there are the ruins of medieval temples of Garh-Rajor, belonging to the 10th and 11th centuries.
​
A 17th century castle on a sharp hilltop at Kankwari, provides a panoramic view of flying Egyptian vultures and eagles. The area was declared a sanctuary in 1955 and became a National Park in 1979.

Major Wildlife Attractions
The Sariska park is home to numerous carnivores including Leopard, Wild Dog, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Jackal, and Tiger. These feed on an abundance of prey species such as Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Chausingha, Wild Boar and Langur. Sariska is also well known for its large population of Rhesus Monkeys, which are found in large numbers around Talvriksh.
The avian world is also well represented with a rich and varied birdlife. These include Peafowl, Grey Partridge, Bush Quail, Sand Grouse, Tree Pie, Golden backed Wood Pecker, Crested Serpent Eagle and the Great Indian Horned Owl.

Moksh Guests can always ask for a relaxing Bonfire near their rooms, or in one of our Lawns. The energetic few can move further and begin testing their Playing skills in Volleyball / Badminton / Football etc at one of our Play zones. Others can venture in our organic farms and surrounding hills.

Half Day Croc Picnic: Moksh organises a visit to Silserh Lake for our guests, 7 Km from our resort. Lakeside picnic Lunch is provided here surrounded by Crocodiles, a lifetime experience. The lake has a fusion of astounding beauty and architectural charisma. It is embellished with arched cenotaphs and a regal palace. The palace not only adds to the beauty of Sariska but also shows the devotion of Maharaja Vinay Singh to his wife Queen Shila for whom the palace was built in 1845 AD.

Full day trip : Silserh Lake excursion followed by a Bala Kila Trip, where guests are taken to the famous Baka Quila at Alwar situated on a hill Top 20 kms from our resort. Bala Kila is famous for its natural splendour, wildlife and historical value.

The Tiger Safari: Moksh concierge can organise your bookings for the Morning / Evening exciting Jeep Safari in the sanctuary to catch a glimpse of the Tiger along with various other wild Animals.

Moksh Mini Trekk : A walk / trek around the Natni Ka Bara River, 400 meters from the Moksh Resort, watch the Huge Tortoises swimming in the river, among the variety of fishes and Water Birds and even crocodiles, cross a foot-over bridze and visit a Temple below the mountains.

Moksh Mega Trekk : A 2 - 3 hour Trekk, very near from Moksh Resort, passing through varied terrain, crossing big bounders, streams and mountains, and finally reaching the famous and ancient Naldeshwar temple, a naturally formed shivling on the Top of the Mountain. Moksh can organise for a picnic lunch among mountains and streams, the area untouched by modernisation.

Bhangarh & Ajabgarh Forts: We can facilitate a full day trip to the famous Bhangar and Ajabgarh forts or the Magnificent Abhanari step-well (Bawri) along with a visit to Sikendra, the famous district of Marble artwork and statues near Jaipur.
